Cajun Cheese Cake

Cajun Cheese Cake
                     Serves 6 - 8

1 yellow butter cake mix or your favorite yellow cake recipe
 3/4 cup sugar
 3/4 cup cream
12 slices American cheese, crumbled (yellow is best)

Mix up cake according to package or your recipe. Pour into bundt pan (any pan will do, but bundt is better). Then bake, according to package or recipe. Cool cake for 10 minutes and turn out of pan. Place cake in platter or container WITH 1 inch sides. Mix together sugar, cream and crumbled cheese in a heavy saucepan. Heat over medium-high heat, until cheese is melted and sauce is well blended and able to pour. Pour over cake, slowly, covering cake and allowing it to drip down the sides. Great warm but also, good cold!

NOTE: This is a very OLD cajun recipe.
